About BlueREY

BlueREY is a competitive youth co-ed traveling team from Rochester, New York. Open practices and tryouts for the team are held in the Spring and players are selected from Rochester and the surrounding area's elite youth who are serious about taking their Ultimate game to another level. We seek as many playing opportunities as possible to build our skills and knowledge of the game, and participate each year in several adult tournaments, as well as league play as a team. In general, this team is about raising our level of play while still having fun on and off the field.

 Coach's Corner

BlueREY practice is open to all high school players (male and female). Players can expect a structured practice covering skills and drills, followed by a controlled scrimmage with an emphasis on the fundamentals. Players of all skill levels are welcome.

To attend open practices, players must meet the following requirements:

  1. Become a USA Ultimate youth member.
  2. Provide a USA Ultimate Medical Authorization form.
  3. Provide a signed BlueREY waiver (co-signed by parent if under 18) (located here).

Please come prepared for every practice: cleats, water bottle, light and dark shirts, and bring your signed BlueREY Waiver to the first practice. Other than that, your cleats on the field will show your level of commitment. If you are interested in playing with BlueREY, email Coach Sean Donnellan.

Watch the Calendar for dates/times of upcoming pickups or practices.
